Disliked: The smell of the room was awful. It smelt like stale urine. We tried to improve the smell by spraying the room with deodorising spray but it was only temporary. The bbq area was a joke, just a couple of filthy old bbq’s left in the laundry room, as was the advertised patio. There were loads of large flies in the room, which were duly swatted with a flyswatter provided by reception. However, due to the poor fitting door, the flies kept on coming. Kept awake by them buzzing around. We paid for two nights but left after the first without a refund. When I explained why we were leaving, the lady said that the reason there were flies in the room was because we had opened the door. Was going to advise her that my teleporter was in for its bi-annual service but thought better of it. The “upholstered” chair was filthy, the shower head loose on the wall and a lamp missing from above the sink vanity unit. Also, the main light in the bathroom reminded me of a late 80’s rave with its strobe effect.
