Disappointing Stay

Liked: Bed was comfortable, large shower with great water pressure, location is great with market/shops/restaurants nearby. Great room size with plenty of space. Housekeeping staff were great and attended our room daily.
Disliked: We booked the Jr Bedroom hoping to have a better city view (and put this request in), and unfortunately, our view was terrible. Our main windows looked out onto an office building right across the alley, with office staff able to see in our room (awkward eye contact was made a few times). We asked to change rooms as it was our honeymoon, and the manager informed us everything is booked for the first night, but that he will look at changing our rooms first thing the following morning. We never heard from the manager again during our stay and ended up spending the rest of our 5 day stay with the blinds down to have some privacy. Expensive $2 charge per laundry pod, but we just bought a bag of 24 pods from the market for $8. Kitchenette is great idea, but poorly stocked. Would've been nice to have larger bowls for cereals etc, and to have more than 2 of each cutlery/dining item so you don't have to repeatedly wash dishes. Also think the room could've benefited from additional things in the kitchen like paper towel. Overall, I was disappointed in our stay.
