Disliked: Perhaps the cheap materials used in the remodel or build are the reason for the noise level. Walls and doors felt paper thin due to the noise.

Liked: The beds are super comfortable and the location is great. You can walk to everything easily, whether along the street or down on the lake walkway. It was easy with our dog. The two sitting areas at the front were comfortable and fun since we had a group. Loved being able to go to the bar/restaurant to get a beverage, snack and hang out.
Disliked: Since the floors are hard (vs. carpet) there is a fair amount of noise if those above you are walking around. Check in and check out were lengthy due to system issues and staff newness. That said, everyone was very nice.

Great location and amenities, noisy...

Liked: Very welcoming to pets! Location is so great - close to public beach, the restaurant on site is great for all meals. Restaurant has full menu now and espresso drinks for coffee in the morning. Barista said ours was included in the room! Bed was comfy and back rooms faced golf course and trees which was nice. Sauna was beautiful.
Disliked: Tough to sleep through the night. Heater cycled on and off, and again, no settings could change it. Very loud when it came on and would wake us up in the middle of the night. Walls were very thin and so also got woken up by guests coming back late, ice machine, and housekeeping in the morning.TV wasn't connected to WiFi and the settings were seemingly limited by the hotel to connect to WiFi. Without internet, the TV was basically unusable.

Great location on Tahoe City.

Liked: Great location in Tahoe City. Across street from beach and 10 minute drive to Olympic Valley. Staff were extraordinarily helpful. Efficient, quiet heater. Needs to work on soundproofing from adjacent rooms.

Newly renovated rooms but room...

Liked: Rooms with 2 double beds are too small for 4 peeps. Bathroom was a postage stamp size.
