Liked: Beautiful location and great atmosphere
Disliked: Hot tub wasn’t very hot

Liked: The location, the view from our room
Disliked: The food served at both restaurants, which, by the way, serve exactly the same food, was below average. The same is true for the service. Except for one or two individuals, the restaurant staff seem to lack basic waiting skills and show little enthusiasm for being there. We also had to wait a long time to get our food.

Lovely staff and a very...

Liked: Lovely traditional property, loved the outdoor pool and swimming under the stars. Cabins were basic but comfortable. Loved the smores!

This is a lodge that...

Liked: The lodge is well designed and the cabins are rustic, offering a nice escape. Also, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is quite good albeit with a limited menu. The lodge has activities planned throughout the week, so there is plenty to do if you aren't heading to Yosemite.
Disliked: Some other guest occupied the parking assigned to my unit. As a result, I had to park farther away and walk back to my unit.

Very nice place, recommended if...

Liked: Nice compact site, pretty cabins and wooden main buildings, decent size room with gas log fire, good shower, excellent breakfast choices, good coffee available on site, and good restaurant.
Disliked: The distance from the Yosemite Valley meant a one hour drive each way each day.

Liked: Stunning location and our cabin had an exceptional view.

The one place I hope...

Liked: Absolutely everything - the rooms, the shower, the pool and jacuzzi, the shop, the forest EVERYTHING!!
Disliked: I have absolutely no complaints other than the food having too much cream

Great lodge and great service!

Liked: Living in the woods real cabin! Food was awesome, s’mores were great, activities were a lot, we loved pool and shuffle board!Everyone works here they try to help you out and so friendly!
Disliked: Nothing. Drive an hour to Yosemite Valley and during winter was a little tough.
