Liked: Good location for what we needed, room was clean, staff were nice, breakfast was okay.
Disliked: Room was very warm, the stand alone air conditioner was not adequate, first night fire alarms went off at 5:30 am so not a great start

Liked: The property was nice, bright and very clean. The host was excellent and very helpful. I spent 5 days with the intention to write with little interruptions and the experience was wonderful. Good internet. There are two places nearby to park. The area is quiet and from the balcony you can see the mountains. There is a stream in the valley that could be a bit noisy but soothing; I had no problems catching up a good sleep every night. There is a 30-min walk to the centre of Como (old town) by the Duomo, and taking a bus is also a possibility. I preferred to drive and leave the car in a parking lot off Via Dante Alighieri, which was built above the old Roman therms. If you drive, the entrance to the parking lot is on Viale Lecco.
Disliked: All was fine; for an avid reader like me I would have appreciated a night table lamp instead of using the ceiling light which has 3 levels of intensity light warmth but cannot replace a lamp. But this is a minimal concern; I would come back to this apartment without any doubts since it is an excellent deal on prize-quality.
