Satisfactory
Disliked: I plumber was called to attend to our room while we were out and we were not advised. this was embarassing when we needed to return in a hurry. Another room was organised and we needed to move to another room, without assistance offered by the hotel.

Excellent very comfortable, would stay...
Liked: Overlooking the plaza/park was a benefit. In the city but still a nice view! Easy walk to everything you needed, such as cafe, supermarket, metro, main city centre.
Disliked: I would have liked the kitchenette to have a toaster and kettle.

Exceptional
Liked: I really liked the location — the hotel is right in the city center, with plenty of cafes, shops, and attractions within walking distance. The staff were extremely polite and helpful, and they even allowed us to check in early.

A comfortable and convenient stay...
Liked: The hotel is centrally located in Madrid, close to Gran Via, and offers convenient access to major tourist attractions via public transport or taxi. A pharmacy is located nearby, and a supermarket just 250 meters away, which is especially convenient for families needing to pick up essentials. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, though they carry a slightly dated aesthetic. All basic amenities were provided, including toiletries. The bathroom was clean and well-kept, and the room included a small kitchen equipped with sufficient utensils for cooking simple meals for a small family. A small refrigerator stocked with snacks and drinks was also available—though chargeable, it was a thoughtful addition. The air conditioning and heating worked well, and an elevator/lift ensured easy access to all floors. The TV was small and a bit vintage, with limited English channels, which is fairly typical in Spain.Check-in and check-out processes were smooth and hassle-free. While we did not opt for the hotel’s breakfast, it is available and served in a nearby cafeteria. We had both breakfast and dinner there separately, and the food was excellent. The ladies at the cafeteria were warm and welcoming, and we enjoyed trying some truly authentic and delicious Spanish dishes. The hotel staff were extremely friendly, always ready to assist, and available 24/7, making our stay even more pleasant and comfortable.
Disliked: The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, though they have a slightly dated look. The TV appeared a bit vintage and small with limited English channels, which is fairly typical in Spain. No coffee sachets, tea bags, or sugar were provided, which could have been useful for families who prefer a quick cup of tea or coffee in the morning to start their day feeling refreshed and energized.

Old and outdated hotel in...
Liked: Location is very good and the room is spacious
Disliked: Room and hotel is very outdated and old. First room we were given had a wet carpet but thankfully they were willing to change our room. Room and corridors smelled of paint.
