Liked: We've loved our New Year at the Escape Boutique it's such a beautiful b&b and full of it's original features, our bedroom was lovely and cosy with a very comfy king-size bed a beautiful bathroom with luxury toiletries and tea making facilities the room was spotless, Breakfast was delicious and we were looked after bye Grace she's such a lovely lady looking after all the guests staying at Escape Boutique, I'm so looking forward to going back.

Liked: Great location with parking. Big room. Well kept and decorated.Nice free standing bath in bedroom if you like that. Bathroom small but great shower. Welcoming helpful staff. Flexible time for breakfast to suit you. No breakfast preordering the night before. Food quality exceptional and service was great.Great cup of tea. Nice Elemis toiletries. Free WiFi. Good info folder. Very clean. Quiet hotel.
Disliked: Original sash windows lots of condensation. Bed a bit soft but personal choice. Pillows not great. No coat hooks in bedroom.. Where do you put coats especially if wet? No hooks back of bathroom door. Limmited space in bathroom for toiletries. No face clothes. No body lotion.Basic choice hot drinks. UHT milk.. Yuk. Would like biscuits to be a local brand.

A great start to 2025...

Liked: My partner and I have just checked out after a 2 night stay at Escape Boutique B&B and all I can say is WOW!From before we arrived to the moment we checked out we have been looked after and made to feel special. Grace is a phenomenal host, she sent a text before we arrived to say our room was ready and we could check in early, which was appreciated by us after a long drive. Grace met us at the door with a warm smile, provided us with all the information and showed us up to our room. We stayed in room 5 on the top floor facing the front of the B&B. The room was a great size, clean and tastefully decorated. The attention to detail was impeccable with added extras such as Elemis shampoo, conditioner and body wash, hot chocolate sachets and biscuits, a hairdryer, mirror with different lighting settings for doing make up and the option to have an Amazon firestick in the TV to access Netflix etc.the bathroom had a large shower with lovely hot water and a powerful shower. Plenty or storage space in the room for clothes, suitcases etc. the bed and pillows were so comfy and we had a fantastic nights sleep both nights of our stay and woke up feeling refreshed. The noise levels were to a minimum also. Your room is serviced every day unless you put your do not disturb sign out on the door.There is an honesty cupboard in the lounge area consisting of alcoholic and soft drinks and snacks for if guests get peckish or thirsty but don’t want to leave the B&B to find a shop. All it requires is that you write down what you took and your room number and this is paid on check out.Breakfast is served between 8:30-10am every morning and there a great selection of hot and cold food and drinks. We had the Full Breakfast on the first morning and Smoked Salmon and eggs on toast the second morning, with fresh coffee and orange/apple juice. Everything was hot, tasty and cooked to perfection. Nothing was too much trouble.
Disliked: The dining room was slightly chilly at breakfast times but it is January after all.

Lovely new year stay. Nothing...

Liked: This was our second new year stay at this gorgeous B&B. The room is so cosy and the breakfast is the best you will get in a B&B

Unique hotel, with lovely staff...

Liked: Unique styled rooms, very clean, lovely staff and a magnificent breakfast. Only downside was no shower in our room, but the bath was great and a welcome change
