Enjoyed my visit to Plzen

Liked: Located in the center of Plzen. Large room.
Disliked: Breakfast at the café was a bit limited. Extra payment for cappuccino.

Liked: Good locationFriendly staff
Disliked: Bathroom - the shower head was positioned at a low level over the bath and there was no screen or curtain, making it difficult to shower without flooding the entire bathroom. Bath towels need replacing as they were old and frayed.Lighting in bathroom is too dim. Also there is no lighting in the doorway leading to the lift near reception.Not the hotel’s fault but the footpath outside the hotel has been torn up as part of roadworks and it is an uneven and unsafe surface on which to drag heavy luggage, and could be an issue if you have mobility issues.

It was almost like training.

Liked: The location of the hotel was great and the room was spacious.
Disliked: Throughout the stay, the showers were cold and did not have hot water. During the cold weather in early October, two of the three people who stayed there became ill because they had to take cold showers.

Liked: Ideal location. Right next to the towns main square. The reception staff were extremely nice.
Disliked: Slightly dated decor.

Nice hotel right in the...

Liked: The hotel is located right in the city center, which is nice for walking around, but a nightmare with parking. There is a reasonably priced parking garage relatively close by, and the receptionist was kind enough to share this information with us, as parking in the surrounding streets was near impossible and very pricey. When we were there, the whole street where the hotel is located was under construction, but we did not have issues with noise from the work. The room was large and neat, and offered a fan instead of airco, which did help with the heat there in summer. The room was clean. The staff was helpful and welcoming, and had our room ready early, which helped us with our travels.

Not too bad

Liked: It’s okay. The staff were all very nice. We booked 4 rooms and one room had pretty bad damp smell. The other 3 were pretty okay.
Disliked: There is ongoing construction work right in front of the hotel which we needed to try to pass and enter the hotel. Didn’t expect this and wasn’t informed before checkin.

Liked: hotel is 20 meter from the main square. close by is a night shop, restaurants and parking spaces. Staff is friendly and helpful. rooms are spacious and clean
Disliked: due to sewage repair of the street we could not take our suitcase to the hotel as the road was broken. No fault of the hotel at all!!! it was funny to be creative and planning what clothes to move from the car to the hotel with a shopping bag :)
