Disliked: The hotel was falling apart. We upgraded our room to a suite for additional cost and it was not much better. You could hear the noise from the outside. It was not worth the money we paid. I will not recommend or come back.

Liked: The room was very clean and big, with a balcony that had the perfect view of the pools and the ocean! The staff was pleasant and helpful. The restaurants are awesome great food, service, and views. Oscar was our waiter and he was very personable.
Disliked: There was a 3rd pool that was an extra charge, I thought that was unnecessary. All pools on the property should be available to all guests. Also outside of the hotel, the vibe was very different there were armed guards on every street corner, armed guards in full gear! It felt a little unnerving. The streets and other hotels are still destroyed and abandoned due to a hurricane that hit only 6 months before I arrived.

Liked: The location of this hotel is perfect. There are bars, night clubs, restaurants, grocery stores walking distance. Super convenient. Pretty easy to take a taxi or bus as well.
Disliked: Our room key didn’t work a couple times which was frustrating because we would have to walk back down to get it fixed each time. But the staff was very helpful and quick to solve that. The sink in the bathroom was leaking when we will turn on the water and it will make a mess.
