Liked: The room was spacious with a great view over Acapulco bay. The location is in the centre of the main strip - close to many restaurants and shops. The check-in process was quick and easy - we arrived late in the evening, so there was no queue. The hotel is well maintained and clean. The buffet breakfast is had a wide range of food, including eggs cooked to order.

Disliked: The hotel was falling apart. We upgraded our room to a suite for additional cost and it was not much better. You could hear the noise from the outside. It was not worth the money we paid. I will not recommend or come back.

Liked: The room was very clean and big, with a balcony that had the perfect view of the pools and the ocean! The staff was pleasant and helpful. The restaurants are awesome great food, service, and views. Oscar was our waiter and he was very personable.
Disliked: There was a 3rd pool that was an extra charge, I thought that was unnecessary. All pools on the property should be available to all guests. Also outside of the hotel, the vibe was very different there were armed guards on every street corner, armed guards in full gear! It felt a little unnerving. The streets and other hotels are still destroyed and abandoned due to a hurricane that hit only 6 months before I arrived.
