Perfect. If your attending a function at the North Charleston Coliseum and Performing Arts Center - it's right next door. The room was spacious. Great atmosphere.

Liked: We've stayed here many times due to its location next to the Coliseum and Performing Arts Center. We were excited to see the updates that have been and are currently being done. They were much needed. The staff was apologetic for the construction and very accommodating. We did feel that the front desk staff should have been provided protective ear covering as the saws and noise from the work being done was very loud in that area. The construction was limited so it didn't interfere with our sleep. The new updated room was very comfortable and clean. The new bar is beautiful and breakfast was delicious. We can't wait to come back when it is all finished!

Disliked: I was offered late check out about three weeks ago. I confirmed my late check out on Thursday when I checked in. I also confirmed my late check out Friday when I checked in in person. Then on Saturday night while I was there for my daughter’s competition and I needed a room to get them ready For a second part of their sport I was told I could not have late checkout. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude saying that they refused it because the entire hotel was booked for Sunday night. Yet me and 15 other parents could go online and book our exact same rooms with no problems. We stay here every year for this competition. There’s about 50 of us that prefer this hotel, so this was very disappointing that we were not allowed two extra hours to use our room.We even were getting text messages and emails asking us if we would like to extend our stay with a late checkout. Would we said yes then we were told hours later we couldn’t have it.
