Valuable experience for the pocketbook...

Liked: The friendliness of the staff was off the charts. They were kind, fun and engaging. During breakfast we noticed several special people working the dining room, young adults that are living their best lives with some challenges. It meant a lot to us, witnessing the integration of these special individuals into the workforce. Well done.
Disliked: The parking lot and surrounding environs don't do the hotel justice. It appeared landscaping crews were working on the front entrance and other areas the day we were leaving.

WONDERFUL and PERFECT

Liked: Embassy Suites is probably my favourite hotel! On this occasion we chose this hotel because it looks over the airport--the very helpful young man changed our room to corner suite to give us a view and checked us in early! Room 1409. I love their evening reception (complimentary drinks & snacks) and buffet breakfasts!
Disliked: Couldn't have been better! (unless you could have kept Trump away because when Air Force One is at the airport they don't allow biz jets to land or take-off, and it is the plane-spotting we come for!

Liked: Breakfast was nice. We enjoyed it. We stayed for a week, and thought the fruit could be switched up a bit, but there was always plenty of it, so that was great. We were pleasantly surprised by happy hour!
Disliked: Our daughter got locked inside the bathroom for almost an hour, while a maintenance guy tried to unlock it. Not much care was shown by staff when I mentioned the incident to them. Also, on Tuesday, Dec. 24, while I was sitting in the hot tub, I was alarmed as I watched my bikini change colour, from the high levels of bleach in the water. I showed the manager a before and after picture of my swimwear, and he brushed it off. He said it was likely because of the bad quality of my swimwear! He said that the city sets the levels of chemicals in the water, so he wasn’t responsible. He was belittling and uncaring and unprofessional.
