great food, terrible management

Liked: The food at the site was great. the wait staff were kind and accomodating, 2 blocks from Main Street sarasota
Disliked: when I arrived, the front desk sent me to a room that was not yet cleaned. I had to return to the front desk to ask for a different room. there were no complimentary drinking water provided. there was a daily mandatory fee, that became credit at the restaurant but renewed daily if you didn't use it. This feels like coercion and theft. - I asked for a pharmacy and was told' right around the corner'. turns out it was 5 city blocks away! of the 3 elevators only 1 worked for half of my stay. when I asked to check out early based on these things I was told a refund would not be given. The service for the price did NOT meet my expectations.

Horrible

Disliked: You were not able to control the inside temperature of the room, arrived at 5pm at the hotel and the weather on that day was like 39 degrees, so I raised temperatures up to 86 because the thermostat didn’t have cool/ heat mode but this attempt was in vain. We switched rooms and we encountered the same problem, so I ended up sleeping in my winter coat and 3 blankets .in the morning turned on hot water to shower and the water stayed cold, like 70degree. Called front desk and they said let the water run for 20 min to get the water heated ,, I did and the water only reached 75,, VERY BAD EXPERIENCE

Liked: Convenient location to restaurants and close to the beach with great views

Horror story

Disliked: They closed (running out of power and water) and of course cancel the reservation without telling people ahead of time, only find out when trying to checking in. It happens on Christmas Eve, that tells all about the hotel .

Passable

Liked: Good location. Clean and large room. Good parking spaces.
Disliked: On the last day of our stay, there was a power cut in the whole building. No water(including toilet!), no AC, no elevator, no power in the room. Since they did not have power in the kitchen, no hot breakfast. And to make it worse, an ear-blasting fire alarm in the morning for 30 min or so… Everything was fine until the last day, so unfortunately I would not recommend this place and would choose different hotel chain next time.

Liked: I love the evening drinks and food. Breakfast was awesome
Disliked: I was wonderfully pleased. I will stay again my next visit to Sarasota.

How about one word “construction”...

Liked: The staff were all very friendly .:.
Disliked: The noise I went to the hotel to rest and the construction was so loud and I requested a quiet room and they put me next to the linen shoot and a room on a sat they slammed on lol all day! Then I returned home sick lol - so yeah know kind of a waste of cash and not that discounted lol
