Our stay was absolutely fabulous. The hotel was beautiful. The staff was amazing. I really enjoyed the happy hour and the breakfast was great as well. I would stay here any time I visit St. Louis. I loved it!

Liked: We loved the daily breakfast it was so yummy and with a lot of options.
Disliked: We didn’t like that we didn’t have housekeeping to clean our room, and the pool water was freezing and smelled way way way too much like chlorine to the point where kids were coughing too much that everyone started leaving. There wasn’t any towels at the pool and we had to walk to our room cold and dripping, my daughter developed a cough due to the chlorine smell which was gone within a few days, but it is dangerous to have such high levels of chlorine that kids and adults start coughing from the strong smell. Maybe cleaning it more often rather than having high concentrations of chlorine and chemicals is best.

Memorable Stay!

Liked: Food at the Hilton Frontenac was excellent!
Disliked: Unfortunately, it was the worst hotel experience I've ever had.Booked 2 premium suites to accommodate 8 people almost a month ago. I was called the day we were checking in and told there were no rooms available and we could stay at the Hilton Frontenac. We obviously had plans in St Louis, so we had no choice. When we got to our rooms at the Hilton, each room had 1 king-sized bed and was in no way a suite. When I spoke to the front desk, they basically told me we had no options, but they could add a roll away bed to each room. When we were leaving to go to our event for the evening, I stopped to confirm the roll aways would be in the rooms when we got back and the three (very pleasant) ladies looked at each other and said they were sorry but that would be a fire hazard. I'm sure no one wanted to communicate that to me, but someone certainly should have. I had to ask for additional pillows and blankets. After we left, my group laughed about it and said it will always be a memorable trip
