Embassy Suites by Hilton Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort, Myrtle Beach

We book with Embassy because we like Embassy, however I can only give 3 out of 5 stars this time.

Liked: Overall nice room; breakfast was good.
Disliked: What made this stay a disappointment was the fact that we had no heat in our room for two days; we drove three hours to get there and checked in around 4:30pm, rested for a while and left an hour after checking in to see a show. When we returned to our room the room was cold, but it was late and we were tired, so we turned the heat up higher and went to bed; however, when we got up, late the next day, my wife was complaining that the room was cold, that's when I turned the heat up to 80 degrees but the room never got warmer than 69 degrees, that's when I realized the heat wasn't really working.... To make a long story short, we complained about the heat twice, twice the maintenance guy came and opened the wall panel where the heater is at and said the motor was sticking, shortly thereafter the heater stopped working again; after complaining a third time that there's no heat in the room the person at the front desk said there's really nothing else she could do. So the expectation was that since it was our last night we would just have to stay in a cold room even though the hotel was nearly empty, it eventually took the night manager to show up and move us to a different room.

Liked: The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The suite was large, comfortable and with a beautiful view. We were able to check into the room 3 hours early with no extra charge. The breakfast was above our expectations.
Disliked: Having to pay $13.99/day to park the car in an open parking lot. I can see if it was a covered parking area to have to pay extra. We have stayed at numerous hotels in Myrtle Beach and never had to pay for the parking.

Liked: Room was clean ,beds very comfortable ,view ocean wonderful , breakfast amazing

It was great as always...

Liked: I loved the ambience of the property. We traveled for New Years and the lights that were out for Christmas really set the mood for a holiday vacation.
Disliked: No complaints.

Liked: Convent location loved the amenities. Very friendly staff.
Disliked: The cleanliness wasn’t up to par as many other Embassy Suites I have stayed in. My room was lovely but under the balcony was a horrible fan so you couldn’t enjoy the partial view from the balcony.
