Liked: The breakfast was ok. There was a lot of food to choose from, but the eggs were cold and sausage seemed to have been sitting for a long time.
Disliked: One elevator was broken, so it took a long time to d for the elevator. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable.

Liked: I like the breakfast room for our family with my grandkids. our bed is very comfortable for both my husband and me.
Disliked: The menu for evening snack can include more items to choose.

Liked: The room is spacious. Some of the staff are very friendly especially a young guy at the reception, and an old lady refilling stuff in the restaurant during breakfast time.
Disliked: 1. The housekeeping is ridiculous. After i told the reception face-to-face that we don’t need housekeeping, to my surprise it was still cleaned, and in a ridiculous way. My pajamas were threw on the lamp!!!2. It’s not well maintained. During the first night midnight, the sink in the bathroom was suddenly broken when nobody was using it. We were startled by the sudden noise, and couldn’t brush teeth / wash face the other morning, until the hotel sent someone to fix it.

Disliked: There wasn’t a fan in the bathroom. Having to pay an extra $20 per night for parking.

Overall great value stay in...

Liked: Convenient location near Monterey/Carmel area. Our room felt clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The central breakfast area/lobby had great lighting during the daytime. The freshly-made pancakes at breakfast were delicious; the made-to-order omelettes also looked huge and yummy, though we didn't try it as the line was long. We were able to use our $15 credit in the gift shop for some afternoon coffee and a local photo card souvenir. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The $20/night extra parking fee felt too expensive; preferably this price would've been included in the hotel room cost, instead of being tacked on as an extra fee. The $15/night resort fee was also forced, even though it was available as room credit; preferably this would not be an automatic fee.
