Always an excellent choice

Liked: I loved the comfort & cleanliness of the room. Also the size of the room. The quality of the linens. Everything you need is in that room (outlets, charging ports, drinking glasses etc) I easily could have stayed multiple days there. Great location and Ruth’s Chris Restaurant is located in the lobby and available for room service
Disliked: We were offered complimentary breakfast which was nice, however it was extremely crowded and not many places to sit to enjoy a peaceful meal. We had to circle several times to find a table to free up. Also, we had to pay an additional charge for parking. I wouldn’t mind so much paying the fee I wish it would have been included on the room instead of scanning a QR code through a separate party. Other than those 2 minor things, we quite enjoyed our stay.

Room as expexted being Hilton,...

Liked: Friendly staff, crisp & clean beds, nice room. Brilliant girl working in the restaurant in the evening of the big snowstorm entertaining and serving everyone efficiently and with a big smile - wonderful input from her to make the best out of the chaotic night!
Disliked: Ice cold in restaurant at evening reception and still really cold in lobby & breakfast restaurant the next day. Some staff in outdoor clothing whilst working indoors and I do not blame them - I should have worn my coat and woolly hat as well had I known!

Terrible Stay

Liked: We enjoyed the food at Ruth and Chris’ and we thought the waitress at happy hour was extremely courteous.
Disliked: Upon check-in we were told that the $25 booking credit that was listed on Booking.com as an “amenity” was non-existent. We paid extra for that and early check-in/late check-out..as per Booking.com ‘s website. We were told by the check-in representative that we would have to contact booking.com about that matter as there was nothing they could do. Around 11:30 that evening the fire alarm in the building goes off causing everyone to evacuate the hotel in their pj’s and in the cold…only to find out from a staff member that he was accidentally responsible for setting off the alarm in the kitchen. After waiting for the fire department to sweep the building we were able to get a few hours of sleep before the alarm went off again and woke everyone up..as this is when they decided to reset the alarm. Luckily it only lasted a minute but still woke us up. After limited sleep, we went down to grab some breakfast so we could check out of this hotel and go somewhere where we could actually get sleep. Well, the “wonderful, hot breakfast where the chef makes your omelet the way you like it” (as advertised on the website and told to us by check-in staff) was a total bust. The cook on staff that morning told my husband that they were out of certain items and that it had been a “rough morning “. After our stay, we couldn’t agree MORE with his statement. Needless to say, we were gone looonnnng before checkout. Outside of that, I’ve tried contacting Booking.com customer service and nobody has followed up with me. So disappointing all around.

Long night!

Liked: Comfortable bed and nice pillows. Great suite room!
Disliked: Advertised happy hour and breakfast were a joke when compared to the room cost. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night (1232 a.m.). No verbal instructions, no staff contact at all. Building self evacuated. Once the fire department left, still no order to re-occupy by staff. No communication at all. No apology, no nothing.

Wonderful stay

Liked: The ladies at the front desk were very friendly, kind, and professional. The room was very clean and quiet during the night hours. The housekeeping staff was very nice and fast when we requested extra towels. The restaurant was wonderful, and the food and drinks were excellent. I wasn't happy about the cost of parking. We extended our stay here due to needing an extra night and even adding another night was simple. We will certainly stay here again.
Disliked: We stayed Thursday to Saturday, then checked out around noon. We ended up needing an extra night, so we returned and rebooked the same room at 8 PM that night. We noticed the same stain on the top bedding cover, which means someone didn't change the top bedding cover but they did change the sheets. I did not like that...that's gross.
