Our stay was very pleasant
Liked: There were more options for breakfast than any other hotel we have stayed in.
Disliked: The cleaning lady couldn’t answer my question because she didn’t speak English. Every employee should speak English especially since it’s the official language of the United States!

Fantastic hotel, roomy and clean...
Liked: I cannot say enough about this facility and its employees. From font desk to breakfast cooks , house keeping and the evening bartender, all were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel has a very spacious and comfortable common areas with TVs, a large pool with clean bathroom facilities and a shower to rinse.
Disliked: The only thing that could have been made the stay better was if the pool was warmer and the coffee near reception was working but you can still make coffee in your room.

The worst experience I've ever...
Liked: The atrium/lobby seemed nice visually.
Disliked: 1) I was charged $9 for a single, generic water bottle. 2) The tub in my room had a failed re-seal job and water had worked it's way between the re-glazing and the old tub surface, leaving a waterbed-like squishy bottom filled with previous guests shower water. Absolutely disgusting. 3) None of the light switches on the wall turned on the lights. I had to stumble my way through to the bedroom to turn on any of the lights which was a safety hazard. 4) My room was 74 degrees and there was no way to get the temperature lower. The front desk told me it was heat OR ac, and depending on the season they only had one or the other. HOW can a "luxury" hotel be operating like this?! For what the cost was it's absolutely shameful. I expect this kind of stuff from a dirty independent motel, not an Embassy suites. 5) i was given a new room that stunk like sewage, and the window was secured closed with a sheetmetal screw driven through the frame, then the head broken off so it cant be tampered with but a sharp edge was left which sliced my finger open. 6) The carpets were installed incorrectly and there was exposed concrete at every transition. 7) the rooms looked ok on the surface but as soon as you looked closely they were absolutely disgusting. Dust, cobwebs, old food wrappers, water bottles, and other miscellaneous crumbs and debris were throughout BOTH rooms I was given. I ended up having to leave for a dinner and chose to book a room at a different nearby hotel, and getting a refund for the experience/room that I had took FOUR phone calls because each person would pass the buck to the different managers. This place needs to be completely gutted/remodeled and a new staff needs to be hired if you think you can charge these kind of prices for a nicer hotel experience. It was atrocious.
