Lovely clean hotel. Comfy beds; loved the room layout featuring two rooms. Breakfast was very good, and staff was very attentive. Location of hotel is great!

Great experience; love that most places are walking distance and staff was really nice.

Liked: I loved the customer service and the texting. Texting to enquire about our stay and if anything was needed was really convenient and fast. Rooms were also beautiful and I loved the dual space one room to sleep, one room to relax.
Disliked: The vending machines sucked - two items were stuck and we did not get to eat them because I was not going to spend an extra $3 dollars for chips and cookies.

The room was lovely and the temperature was perfect. We also used the gym and had a scrumptious breakfast made to order. Our linens were soft and room was spotless.

Liked: The evening drinks were delicious and the staff was very professional. The food was just the right amount prior to the event.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: I loved the small things they did to improve the experience. Like music, and a complimentary happy hour.
Disliked: I didn't realize the parking wasn't free. My own fault for not reading the fine line.

Disliked: Mostly very impressive and comfortable. One issue with swimming pool and spa area since water was cloudy with highly bleached. Better filter system in spa and swim area might required.

Started out great, but ended...

Liked: The facility was very clean and our children loved the indoor pool and hot tub. The location was great right next to the water and old town Sac.
Disliked: We were woken up at 6 in the morning to loud knocking on our door that scared our children. We were informed by hotel staff that the hotel was on lockdown because someone had checked into the hotel then threatened staff and police with a knife. The person then locked themselves in their room. We were told the breakfast was canceled and we could not leave our room without an escort. 30 min. before we had to leave to attend a business meeting we informed the staff, no one showed up to escort us out. After finally reaching the lobby on our own we were told we could not get our vehicle therefore missing our meeting. The hotel is beautiful, but the Sacramento police department and the hotel staff did not handle an "emergency" situation very well.

Liked: The breakfast hall workers are humourous and friendly and bathrooms are clean at all the time.
Disliked: The bathroom in the suite has no ventilating fan and when I asked front desk, they seemed having no idea about the fan. They are right because after our comprehensive search we concluded that there is No Fan in the bathroom. I don't understand what the hotel did not brief their workers about the room equipment comprehensively and after remodeling.I feel sorry for bothering them two times for this "fake issue". No plastic cup for brushing teeth and I needed to use the Whiskey glass for this purpose. It is so funny

Liked: Breakfast was great ! Location great and nice big suite for my family . The lobby was nice and decorated for the holidays. Staff was nice too
Disliked: So…I specifically chose this place for their free breakfast . The first day we were able to have it. The next day they did t serve it because some person was making threats from his room with a knife and the police had to keep us in our rooms while they handled it. It made the news. Our bathroom smelled of cigarettes as well . Wish they would of given us a voucher for the loss
