Every Embassy Suites employee I encountered was amazing. Needed to switch rooms because of construction noise - no problem, it was handled quickly without an issue. Needed a late check out time for Sunday since my son was racing in the evening and he needed to eat and sleep before finals - once again, no problem. Wished my son good luck. It was all the little things like wishing my kid good luck that made the experience better than I expected it to be. Now I need to let Embassy Suites higher-ups know directly just how great their staff were during our stay.

Liked: The hotel is currently under renovations but the staff do an amazing job keeping the noise and dust from construction to a minimum.
Disliked: I expected the rowdy Big 10 Championship fans to be very loud when they returned but the staff once again did an amazing job in controlling the situation for us swim parents.

Hotel great; room great; breakfast great; happy hour great. It was perfect location and everyone was so helpful!

Liked: The breakfast was great. Also, the pool and hot tub met my expectations.
Disliked: My shower was dirty. It definitely had visible hair in it. Took a while for someone to come up and clean it. And when he did he only picked up the hair. We went out and bought shower shoes.

Short stay following a basketball...

Liked: Front desk employees were very helpful and pleasant in helping us when we had an issue!
Disliked: Our first room was awful- we walked in and were hit by an obvious smell (marijuana) whether it was coming through a vent or someone had smoked prior, it was terrible. We had children and ourselves to consider, the air quality- not pleasant! We immediately turned around and requested a different room. Our second room didn’t smell but the window was full of water and by morning the ledge was soaked, thankfully, none of our belongings were on that side of the room.

Disliked: To much chlorine in the pool and hot tub.. turned the jets on and it bubbled so bad it was almost like a bubble bath and made my eyes burn for the rest of the day..
