If you're going to charge someone's credit card, make sure you ask them if it's okay! I'm getting married in a week in a half and find this added expense unappropriated!
Disliked: Booking website said 3pm check-in - it was actually 4, so had to wait. Ordered 2 room suite with 2 double beds - got a king and had to go back downstairs from the 11th floor. Was then informed they didn't have my room available and had to switch me to a non-smoking room. It wasn't until I got home and checked my credit card statement that I found they also charged me 75 dollars without telling me they were going to.

Worst Embassy Stay Ever!
Liked: I normally stay at the embassy on magnificent mile when I’m in Chicago but this time we chose this one on River North and I regret it from the time we checked in. The staff was rude and inattentive starting with the happy hour. Our phone didn’t work the first 2 nights we were there so any time we had a problem we had to go all that way to the lobby to tell someone. There was no linen for the sofa bed and when we went down to tell the staff member at the front desk he responded “I’m not taking linen up there that’s not my job”. Our toilet stopped working and after reporting it to them 3 different times, it took them 6 hours to fix it so we had to go from the 10th floor to the Mezzanine to use the restroom. I booked a reservation for 5 people and had to go through hell everyday to get 2 extra towels for everyone to have a towel to shower with. For the amount I paid this is UNACCEPTABLE. I will be contacting corporate.

Superb
Liked: We enjoyed our stay at Embassy Suites Chicago Downtown River North. It is in a great location to go sight see and get to attractions in the city. The included breakfast was delicious and offered something for every appetite. The evening reception was also nice for after dinner drinks or for a quick pre-game before going out depending on how you spend your evenings. (Shout out to Lisa for keeping the evening snacks filled and the tables cleared). The pool was nice and warm even if a bit crowded at times (it's prime Spring Break). The shower in the room had great water pressure. And the front desk was very accommodating. My only issue would be the cost of valet parking at $79 per day but parking is a premium downtown. The valets themselves were very helpful and professional.
