If you're going to charge someone's credit card, make sure you ask them if it's okay! I'm getting married in a week in a half and find this added expense unappropriated!

Disliked: Booking website said 3pm check-in - it was actually 4, so had to wait. Ordered 2 room suite with 2 double beds - got a king and had to go back downstairs from the 11th floor. Was then informed they didn't have my room available and had to switch me to a non-smoking room. It wasn't until I got home and checked my credit card statement that I found they also charged me 75 dollars without telling me they were going to.

Very good

Liked: The hotel was okay it was quite outdated for the price but I understand it is downtown Chicago.
Disliked: It could be cleaner and a little more updated there was quite a bit of dust in the bathroom.

Need to come back again...

Liked: Close to Lurie hospital where grandson was having tests done
Disliked: Some staff members at check in were not helpful and cranky. Told us one time to come back and check in and then came back and still not have a room come back later. Finally a totally different staff member was like well yes it is ready. Not happy with that at all.

Stay Away. Bad Experience and...

Liked: The breakfast was good, but you get what you paid for. I’d seen better breakfast before
Disliked: The refrigerator was not getting cold. Even though it was downtown, there was no view at all. My room is facing a garage building. Telephone in the room itself for room inquiries is not working and I tried using my mobile phone, but no one is available. How can you correct what I put in my review. Only one USED toilet paper in the bathroom. Even a one star hotel will provide you with a new one. Maybe I need to stay in Motel 6 and get better experience. Only one staff available in the morning to ask question like breakfast ticket. It took me 10 minutes to wait and answer my question in less than 5 seconds. The guy was so busy on the phone and personal inquiry is a second priority. I normally called a lot of customer service on the phone and it is normal to put you on hold. Not in Embassy 4 star hotel because it is the exact opposite. It’s before 9am and I haven’t check-out yet and the cleaning lady entered my room. The tv cable is non existent and only has less than 12 channels. The hotel with nice reviews does not impress me at all especially I paid top dollar, and what I got for the amenities are bad experiences. Never will I go back to this hotel!!!!!!
