The front desk people were...

Liked: The room was out of shampoo and conditioner. When I stepped on the rug in the bedroom it was wet and frayed. When I lifted it up to look it was a puddle of water.
Disliked: The wet carpet, the lack of attention to the shampoo and conditioner which were in an attached dispenser. by the time you realize it, you are in the shower and all wet. I also heard another guest tell housekeeping that her room also was out of shampoo. Aren't these checked? The lack of maintenance and stepping in my sock feet on a wet carpet every time I walked on it. The frayed carpet indicated to me a quality decline at Embassy Suites. The room just kinda grossed me out.
