The hotel is beautiful; friendly staff and huge rooms! I will definitely be booking with Embassy Suites again.

Extraordinarily pleasant stay. I had a large suite on the top floor with a great view of downtown Buffalo. The staff, from the limousine driver to the Assistant Manager, was extremely competent, efficient and friendly. The hospitality hour and complimentary cooked to order breakfast was a welcomed change from the microwaved, pre-packaged fare found in other chain hotels. I had dinner in the dining room and the meal was 5 Star. I highly recommend the Embassy Suites Buffalo.

Good value and a lot...

Liked: I thought the size of the room was perfect for three friends staying together. The value was very good. We especially enjoyed the complimentary drinks and breakfast.

A bargain room at twice...

Liked: The hotel restaurant was nice, and the 2 complementary drink tickets were welcome. Pool and fitness room were clean and in good order. Staff was excellent, patient, and helpful. Included wifi was convenient. Breakfast was the best part of the stay. The energetic and talented person at the omelette station almost made up for the room... almost.
Disliked: The location and surrounding area strongly incentivized me to use the valet for an additional $25 per 24 hours. Our room was silently downgraded from a luxury king to a double queen, affecting the tone of what was supposed to be a romantic anniversary. There was a STRONG (overwhelming) smell of some kind of cleaner in the 4th floor common area that we got to bask in every time we went to/from our room and the elevator. The room felt adequate for $200, EXTREMELY disappointing for $328. The rest of the hotel gave a "budget luxury" impression but the room could not possibly be described as luxury with a straight face. There was absolutely nothing to distinguish it from a room half the price except, perhaps, square footage. It was exactly like staying at a Marriot for $125 a night except larger. One of the walls in our room had a huge black scuff on it, and other very obvious damage hastily "repaired" around the room. Some previous guest's makeup brush was on the floor. The beds were comfortable enough, but we both woke up repeatedly with unfamiliar hip/back soreness.
