Disappointing

Liked: The room was clean and spacious
Disliked: We specially called and asked if there was a pool when we called the hotel first to make the reservation. We were not told that the pool water was below regular temperature settings. We contacted the on shift manager and he came to check the temperature of the pool and it was in the 70s, making it unbearable to swim. We, along with 10 other people, including adults and children for children’s party, did not even swim in the pool because of the cold temperatures. When we addressed this with the night manager, he told us that his maintenance man would not drive an hour to come turn the heat up fire the pool. I explained to the manager that it’s not a matter of the maintenance man coming back to turn up the heat in the pool. It’s a matter of the Embassy Suites should always have the pool at a consistent warmer temperature that allows your guests to swim because now you’ve lost 10 people who will not come back because of this. the manager told me there was nothing he could do about it. I would have to talk to the morning manager. The morning manager, Luanne said that she would refund the full cost of our room to us because of the inconvenience. We are waiting for Booking.com to communicate with Embassy suites to have our refund credited back to us.Otherwise, the Embassy suites was a very pleasant stay.

Liked: The rooms were nice .. nice pool and breakfast was good
Disliked: My son found 2 bedbugs on him and was uncomfortable all night to sleep it was reported and staff was accommodating to refund my money

We had a great family...

Liked: Everything was clean and inviting. The staff were helpful and friendly. The pool was enjoyable.
Disliked: The snacks for sale should be labeled with pricing.

Liked: Location worked well for us.
Disliked: Grab bar near commode in bathroom.

Disliked: had a rough check-in was a mistake on booking.com n also the unacceptable help from the hotel desk until they found the mistake n made it right n apologized!
