Liked: The location suited our needs
Disliked: I thought it was a bit expensive given the decor is a bit dated.

Overall the place was comfortable...

Liked: On arrival they upgraded our room which was lovely and we very much appreciated. The staff were friendly. We were very close to public transport which made it easy to get around and see more of Melbourne. The bed was very comfortable and there was a large double shower and even a spa.
Disliked: They could provide more kitchen items. It made it difficult to prepare your own meals. There were no bowls, only 1spoon and 1 fork and no plug for the sink or teatowel to dry up dishes. Other than that they provided microwave and small oven and hotplates, tea and coffee and milk, toaster etc.

Liked: Good water pressure in the shower, free wifi & a large room. Reasonably comfortable large bed.
Disliked: The room decor was very dated & the entire place in need of a renovation. Old furniture & fittings.Only one small mirror in the entire room, located high on the wall in the bathroom. Poor lighting & height made it difficult to use. The wardrobe had no hanging rod, so was of no use to hang clothes after unpacking. During my 5 night stay, my bed wasn’t made once, and I only had one change of towels provided.

A place to sleep

Liked: It was close to a function venue that we were attending so it was really just a place to sleep. I wouldn't want to stay there for a number of days. Plenty of car parks. Rabbits were cute.
Disliked: The place needs a renovation. The room was clean at a glance but if you took a closer look it needed a deep clean. There was so much dust under the bed and light fittings. The bathroom had a weird smell and windows were hard to open. The shower door had a tied bag as a door handle. There was a property behind the hotel that was doing works and very noisy.

Disappointing

Liked: Cmortable room. Good shower.
Disliked: Stairs. Booked disabled room and asked for no stairs as we are both elderly with mobility problems, use either walking frames or walking sticks.

A rip-off

Disliked: Arrived at 1.00pm was told my room was ready but I would have to pay $20 cash if I was wanting to go to my room early. It had to be cash not card. As my family members had already paid the $60 for their 3 rooms. As we had travelled 300kms and about to attend a family wedding, I reluctantly paid. So $80 lined someone's pocket. Never again and never recommend this establishment.
