friendly owners but feels like...

Liked: room was big, staff were nice, location is good.
Disliked: stayed there for 8 nights, room didn't get made up once other than fresh towels which was missed for 3 days. Door key card was continually breaking and rarely anyone at reception, you need to call the number on the door to get someone to come and help. The hotel seems to being used as a temporary housing location, there were some very interesting groups of people staying there. On one occasion whilst in the laundry area suddenly a guy appeared standing above me demanding a cigarette, it wasn't until i stood up and he saw i was 190cm tall he backed down and walked off checking all the smoking bins on the walkway walls for old cigarettes. I certainly never felt safe there. on 2 occasions the police were there, once federal police and 2 ambulances. The laundry area is disgusting; however the laundry is free so, i guess you take the good with the bad.on the second day i came back to find my room absolutely stinking of cigarette smoke. I had new towels and the guy that was swapping those out didn't smoke so no idea how my room smelt so much although i did find a cigarette butt by the window so....

Look elsewhere, very overpriced for...

Liked: The bath and the bed were both great sizes
Disliked: The tv didn’t get very many channels

Very convenient for our need...

Liked: The room was a good size and had most of the things you would expect in a motel. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning made things comfortable too. The manager was very helpful when we asked for help. The room had obviously been upgraded and was in good condition.
Disliked: There were too many steps for my daughter who has a problem with her knee and found it hard work climbing them. Would ask for a room on the lower floor another time. There was dust on some surfaces, which didn't impress. Some drawers were stuck and we couldn't open them at all. For us no problem as we didn't have much luggage.
