Liked: Beautiful hotel, it feels luxurious and very intimate. The staff are very professional and provide great service. Very comfortable bed and great decor throughout. Beautiful breakfast and dining options. We will be back
Disliked: My only negative is the shower is a tiny corner unit. We had the George Walton Room and as young petite adults we struggled to use it comfortably. You cannot avoid the overhead shower stream as it takes up the whole unit so take your shower cap ladies. It would not be suitable for a medium-large sized person so do ask about shower sizes when you book!

Liked: The room was lovely. Large and comfortable. Bed was so comfy. Pillows amazing.Breakfast was lovely Staff accommodating and friendly. Asked for an extra duvet because was cold. The staff brought it with no problem. Thank you
Disliked: Shower tray leaked on floor and carpet. Light not working, but not able to fix due to it being a weekend.Boiler next to room woke husband up.

Liked: Helpfull staff. The main building.
Disliked: We didn't expect a dark, subterranean room outside of the main hotel.. We had to keep the curtains closed due to the outside public footpath looking down into the room, which meant the room was pitch black unless the overhead light was switched on, Like others, we prefer natural daylight. Right outside the window was a small service yard with alcoves which appeared to house a generator, the openings were filled in with a very large metal Louvre grill, but one had fallen to the ground and while it was raining, especially through the night, it sounded like someone was banging a big drum. The adjacent car parking cost £38.00 for the 2No nights, nothing to do with the hotel I add but other potential customers need to be aware. For £338.00 I would expect a lot more! I do not normally give poor reviews, I weigh up the pro's and con's of all our stays, but this needed saying. Not happy!

Beautiful hotel but I would...

Liked: Good location, clean and beautiful room. The bathroom is exceptional with powerful shower
Disliked: The pillows are awful they need to replace them. I ended up having neck discomfort. Insufficient toiletries as canisters were empty, no shower gel provided.
