A tired place but vg...

Liked: Excellent location. V friendly owner. Handy to narrowboat marina. Quiet
Disliked: No wifi in room. Our shower didn't get hot.

Ideal Location for the night...

Liked: The Landlady was very pleasant and helpful, check in is at 4pm and she was right on time, showed us to our room and explained the features. view from the room was of the courtyard, the water pressure and temperature was more than needed. The bathroom was modern and clean, the room is located in a public house and the bar was friendly and had a good selection of local beers.
Disliked: Can't say I found anything wrong with this hotel considering it's over 200 years old.

Liked: Was out with my band. We needed beds and a place to get cleaned up. Everything we wanted was there.

Convenient refurbished hotel.

Liked: Excellent location. Comfortable room with plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits. Small ensuite shower which was nicely decorated. Owner was friendly and accommodating. Replied promptly to my enquiries and let us park the car before check in time. She also accommdated our late check in.
Disliked: Poor shower head, which was clean, but in need of descalling. Sink plug hole also in need of a deep clean.No food provided and closed early evening.
