Liked: It was very convenient and very clean
Disliked: The heat was broken and did not work at all. The front desk told me when I checked in. I walked into an open room (not locked) with a space heater on. I was afraid to leave the heater on all night so it was quite cold. I did not stay a second night and even though I requested a refund it was not granted.

Disliked: Giant ass like 1980 heater/ac super noisy. My room was ok but like half way updated. For $150, I expected more in the off season.

Beautiful little Inn on a...

Liked: The location was excellent. Easy to get to and a short walk to the lakeshore beach area. A short drive to Elk Rapids shopping which was awesome!! The owner was knowledgeable and available to answer any questions. The hotel is cute and situated on spacious grounds with firepit and chairs. It looked like there had been some recent upgrades to the room which made it very inviting. Nicely decorated and plenty of room for two people.
Disliked: The beds were a little too soft for me. And the AC/heating unit was loud. The outer cover shook and rattled loudly when it started which kept us awake. If there is some way to fasten the cover tightly on the unit, that may help.

Liked: Loved the location and room was comfy. Parking was great and loved the property. We wanted to love this place
Disliked: Lost all water (during my husband's shower). There was no one available at the office during the problem. Later it was fixed but there was nothing done to make up for this and it sounds like it happens frequently. Office was closed so much that we felt if more problems occurred we would be SOL.
