Disliked: Location is at worst place in the city!!!The room as well as the bathrooms are extremely dirty. Even the sheets are not changed for new guests. We slept one night with our jackets, dident use the blankets or the bathroom.The Indian staff a nice person and that’s it

Disliked: There are people who have been staying at the hotel for a long time, who were shouting and arguing during the night and early in the morning. Otherwise the evening was quiet, but thanks to the noise during the night we didn't sleep much. Very nice staff and place a short distance from the cable car stop.

Very clean, comfortable bargain spot...

Liked: I needed a room with proximity to a hospital where I was receiving treatment. Already on medical leave, it was important for me to find an affordable spot in notoriously expensive San Francisco. I came to the Elite Inn reluctantly but booked it because I had very few choices at very busy time. I was pleasantly surprised! The rooms and common spaces were squeaky clean and the facility was well maintained. The owners and staff take pride in the hotel and this is unusual in hotels like this in SF.
Disliked: No air conditioning or elevator ( though AC needed in SF perhaps a dozen days per year and owner helped me carry my bags up the stairs).
