Liked: Very clean and the staff were very kind and friendly. Nice decoration and good location.
Disliked: -There are no telephones in the rooms.. It took me a while until I found the number I could call to ask for an extra blankets.- It was -12 C outside and the room was very cold so we had to ask them for an extra fan heater.- I wanted to order from the hotel an espresso but they told me that they didn’t have any in the hotel.- Breakfast: not so much options in the buffet

Liked: Absolutely beautiful hotel, it has so much character and charm. Stairway and public areas are breathtaking.The room was very comfortable and functional. Staff were so friendly and helpful.

Liked: Love the decoration of the hotel,starecases and dining area.. Staff are helpful and pleasant… beds are comfortable… breakfast was ok and would fill most tastes..
Disliked: It was promoted as noise proof room, but I could hear ppl walking ubove my room.. lack of parking or designated spots only for hotel is a bit a downside in my opinion.

Would stay there again because...

Liked: Breakfast was excellent. Fantastic location. Very quiet.
Disliked: Room is starting to get a bit tired, base of bathroom door and trimming falling to bits, needs painting. Furniture and fittings also looking at tired.

Liked: I liked the room. It was beyond my expectation. It was clean, comfortable and spacious. My family slept well. Good location and friendly hotel staff. Highly recommended

Disliked: Hair dryer broken. One bed was extremely soft in the middle causing back pain.

A disappointing stay in a...

Liked: The location was fantastic, and the hotel was very beautiful and cosy at Christmas time. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was quite good.
Disliked: We booked two rooms, when we checked in at around 6pm one of the rooms we were given hadn't been cleaned after the departure of the previous guests. We went back down and told the people at reception, who promised to sort it out as they were fully booked and couldn't offer us a different room. We had a look at the dirty room on our way out to dinner, and found that all they had done was change the sheets on the bed (messily) and bring new towels, nothing else had been cleaned at all - it was still dirty and there was trash in the trash cans and a candy wrapper from the previous guests still lying in the middle of the bathroom floor. We once again went to reception, and asked them to clean the room properly (i.e. vacuum the carpets and clean the bathroom at the very least). We came back from dinner a few hours later, and the bins had been emptied, but the room very clearly hadn't been vacuumed or cleaned for the rest. To top it off, the bath tub in the "clean" room was grimy and we had to scrub the scum from the previous occupant's bath off before bathing our daughter. Apart from the serious cleanliness issues, the rooms were overall a bit run-down and in need of a bit of fixing up (e.g. the shower head wouldn't stay up on the fixture to shower instead of bathing in the grimey bath).
