A welcoming and comfortable stay

Liked: The staff are exceptional - they went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Not always the experience you get as a woman travelling alone. Delicious food and a great breakfast. Also it had a comfortable sitting room area away from the bar and restaurant.
Disliked: Currently it’s not suitable for people with mobility difficulties as the stairs to the rooms are very steep - but they are currently building a ground floor room

Liked: When going to sleep it was quiet, it came with breakfast which was very good. The bed was very comfortable. The facilities were great, the staff were very welcoming and made sure we were okay. There was a lovely quiet area where there were a few board games and to have a drink. The rooms were clean and we were provided with a fan to cool us down as it was warm in the room. The bed was a really good size and was very comfy which made us sleep well.
Disliked: The shower needed a deep clean in the grouting but was clean other than that. I wish there was a little bit more parking space as we travelled a little way, however if you want until a little bit later in the evening you can always move your car to the car park.
