Nice location and friendly staff...

Liked: Front desk staff was excellent and very helpful. They assigned us to a room on the top floor to give a great view. When we had the alarm go off in the middle of the night they were helpful with status and direction.
Disliked: In the middle of the night from 1:25 past 1:30am there was an alarm that went off in the entire building. It indicated all guests stay in their rooms. We understood that the alarm was a safety precaution and that was not the issue. The issue was that it continued for so long then after it was disabled, it would randomly come back on and scare and stress us out. It continued on at various times between 1:30am and 4:30am. It caused us to have a terrible night sleep and lots of stress as well.Additionally, the hotel hallways on the 31st floor were very dirty. There was dust, debris and small trash throughout the hallway to our hotel room. A simple vacuuming would have cleaned things up. The room was clean however the water pressure was quite low in the bathroom sink and shower. Low enough to be noticeable and affect cleaning.

Liked: The staff were great and the hotel was clean.
Disliked: The street noise was awful. All night long we had construction, sirens, and yelling. Our window was broken and our door would get stuck. We also had an emergency alarm wake us up at 130am. Before checking out our key stopped working and we had to get a new one. Also avoid valet parking if you can. We didnt have a choice because our car didnt fit in the surrounding garages. 60 dollars a night PLUS 13 more dollars a day for a valet tax. Insanity.

The stay was really good...

Liked: The hotel is in a great location! Literally walking distance to several restaurants! I was given an upgrade for some reason …not sure why but definitely didn’t complain! Nice night view!
Disliked: There was a balled up dirty paper towel on the floor next to the lamp. The pillows are terrible! Beyond soft! We were awakened by the fire alarm at 1:30am!! Thank goodness no fire…however the situation lasted over 2 hours so needless to say no sleep!!!!

Good Experience of Philly, Independence...

Liked: Excellent location. Close to touristic areas such as the Independence hall, Philadelphia Museum of Arts. And also very close to the subway. It is also telling that LA Rams also chose to stay here when they were visiting for the NFL game.
Disliked: Some furniture in the room was slightly damaged
