Our favorite hotel in Madrid!

Liked: The staff is exceptionally friendly and very efficient with check in and check out process. Alberto and Marta at the front desk are excellent. We ate dinner in the restaurant and the breakfast buffet was also outstanding and a great value. We stayed at the Elba Madrid Alcala both the day we arrived to Madrid and the night before we departed and it was very conveniently located close to the airport. Additionally the 2 o'clock check in time was much appreciated. We were a family of 7 staying in three different rooms and both times we checked in all the rooms were ready! Fantastic!! Additionally the hotel provides coffee service in the rooms which is something often lacking in other hotels we stayed in during our visit to Spain.
Disliked: The only element that could perhaps be improved on is the heating/cooling controls in the rooms themselves are a bit hard to figure out how to use. The front desk staff were very responsive and came up to our rooms to show us how to adjust the temperature as needed for each room.
