Liked: My stay at Elan Hotel was excellent. The staff were very friendly, hotel room was very clean. There are many restaurants walking distance to the hotel along with a 7 minute walk to Cedars Sinai Hospital. Parking was great, however if you have a vehicle over 6ft, you will have a hard time parking in their garage. Other than that I truly enjoyed my time at Elan Hotel and highly recommend you check them out when traveling in the area.
Disliked: We drove a truck and was not able to park in the underground parking due to its height. We were accommodated to park at the back of the hotel, but it was a race with the construction van. Other than that I had a great time.

Liked: They were super helpful and I was selected as a special quest with discounts on parking and check-in time which was a huge blessing.
Disliked: They are doing some renovations but it did not interfere with my stay at all.

Disappointing Experience at Elan Hotel...

Liked: The hotel was really clean and situated next to shopping centers. Great location!
Disliked: Disappointing Experience at Elan Hotel – Unreliable and OverpricedI initially chose to stay at the Sofitel, which is adjacent to Elan Hotel, and only later realized the excellent value it offered. My experience at Elan, however, was extremely disappointing. The staff interaction was poor, and the hotel failed to honor its rate commitments.During my stay, I requested a late check-out for a small fee, which was agreed upon at $50 until 4 PM. However, just as I was leaving for a meeting, I received a call from reception stating that I would now be charged $80 for the same service, which felt unfair and unprofessional.The nightly rate at Elan was $250, while Sofitel, a reputable brand, was priced around $400 per night. Despite the higher price, Sofitel included a $100 credit for food and beverages, along with breakfast, and offered evening events, making it a far better value. In contrast, Elan’s rate only covered the room and, in hindsight, proved to be an overpriced option with little to offer.I would not recommend Elan Hotel due to its failure to honor rate commitments and the overall disappointing experience. I regret not choosing the Sofitel.
