Disappointing Experience at Elan Hotel...

Liked: The hotel was really clean and situated next to shopping centers. Great location!
Disliked: Disappointing Experience at Elan Hotel – Unreliable and OverpricedI initially chose to stay at the Sofitel, which is adjacent to Elan Hotel, and only later realized the excellent value it offered. My experience at Elan, however, was extremely disappointing. The staff interaction was poor, and the hotel failed to honor its rate commitments.During my stay, I requested a late check-out for a small fee, which was agreed upon at $50 until 4 PM. However, just as I was leaving for a meeting, I received a call from reception stating that I would now be charged $80 for the same service, which felt unfair and unprofessional.The nightly rate at Elan was $250, while Sofitel, a reputable brand, was priced around $400 per night. Despite the higher price, Sofitel included a $100 credit for food and beverages, along with breakfast, and offered evening events, making it a far better value. In contrast, Elan’s rate only covered the room and, in hindsight, proved to be an overpriced option with little to offer.I would not recommend Elan Hotel due to its failure to honor rate commitments and the overall disappointing experience. I regret not choosing the Sofitel.

Liked: I like how accommodating this hotel is to Cedars Sinai Hospital patients. The staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.
Disliked: The room looked out against the brick wall of the adjacent building. It didn’t let in much daylight.

Exceeded expectations!

Liked: Great location, super comfortable rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location near CBS television studios and Beverly Center mall. The room was small but comfortable, the beds were extremely comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Self-parking easy to access and convenient.
Disliked: Better signage directing where to go to check in.

Liked: The location of the hotel is truly fantastic! With a mall nearby, great restaurants in the area, and convenient laundry services, everything I needed was just a stone's throw away. Plus, the unbeatable rates make it even better!One of my favorite perks was the FREE COFFEE available every day at any time. It’s such a delightful touch that really enhances the overall experience for guests like me. Who doesn’t love coffee on demand?
Disliked: However, I did notice some noise from the neighboring rooms. While it wasn't an issue when guests were quiet, soundproofing could definitely improve comfort during stays. A little extra insulation would go a long way!
