Liked: The staff was so welcoming. The property itself is beautiful, and so homie. Feels like your visiting family. Plus it’s so close to Washington shopping strip. It was a nice walk.

Disliked: The only improvement I could make to the room we were in (#20) would be to add a chair. The only place to sit was on the beds. There was a padded bench- perhaps that was meant for sitting. We had our bags on it..

Liked: It was a perfect location, and the room was great. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the atmosphere and food was awesome!

Our stay was a short...

Liked: We really were surprised that our room was so modern in a Victorian Hotel. We had all the necessities for a comfortable stay. The room was super clean and tidy. Even though we didn't take advantage of the bar and restaurant it was a great feature if the weather was bad. We love trying new places in Cape May.
Disliked: I can't say anything bad about Elaine's! The staff was virtually invisible and that was great with us. We stayed on the second floor and that was ok also. We are both very active and mobile so steps weren't a problem. We enjoyed the quiet at the end of the hall in room 19.
