Our stay was great.

Liked: I wish it had a breakfast. The location was great not far from any location we visited.
Disliked: For the price of the room breakfast would have been nice.

Superb

Liked: Very nicely renovated, beautiful and tasteful rooms. We loved that it was part of an ensemble with stores, a bar, a pizzeria (closed at the time of our visit). The beers were brewed in Albuquerque and very nice. Very central location , just 3 minutes drive from the old town plaza.
Disliked: I would say the only downside is that it is by central avenue, which is a busy road. In hotels I usually use earbuds so I wasn't bothered but you can hear the road a bit from the rooms.

Pleasant - 3.0 out of 5

High hopes, but missed expectations

Liked: The staff was very friendly. The first room was smelling very bad (we later learned that there was a pipe burst a week before) and they happily changed our room. The check-in / out process was easy. There was also a bar which had some decent drinks.
Disliked: The room was very small compared to the photos. The vibe was very spacious in the photos, it was very cramped room with big furniture and very small bathroom. It is located very close to the Old Town and Museum, but the neighborhood is sketchy and I am not sure how feasible would it be to walk even during the daytime. It is definitely not value for money. The parking and entrance is also a little bit complicated, given the fact that it is on the Route 66 and you have to park to the back, then go to the front for the check-in and then go back to the parking to get your stuff from the car.

If you're going to Albuquerque,...

Liked: We were disappointed that we weren't staying longer. We had the most comfortable room of our trip. Next time, we'll plan a longer visit.
Disliked: The only thing I can think of is they left us only decaf coffee in the room. No big deal because they had great coffee brewed in the office.

Great location and a relaxing...

Liked: Nicely updated motel from the 50’s. It has a small craft bar with local beers. Perfect location near Old Town and across the street from BioPark. Restaurants close by. Love the updated look and the suite in which we stayed.
Disliked: Nothing.

Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Disappointing

Liked: Location right across from aquarium/botanical garden
Disliked: The room smelled like mildew and the floor was coming up. A part of the wall looked swollen and water damaged so I'm sure that's where the smell of mold was coming from. In the morning at 8am I called the front desk for creamer and coffee and was told I had to come to the front to get them. I said we cant have them brought to the room? "Uh, no housekeeping hasn't come in yet" Mind you this isn't a very big motel, the lady at the front was lazy and didn't want to walk 25 ft to our room. For 165 a night, garbage...stay elsewhere.
