Disliked: After arriving at the property I was refused a room because I only had cash and although they were willing to take it for the room fee, they wanted an extra $150 deposit that had to be paid on card which was never mentioned when making the booking. The place looked like a refuge for drug addicts and the staff were quite rude. I wouldn't even consider booking here again I'd rather sleep in my car.

Disappointing and upsetting stay. Plumbing...

Liked: Newly renovated room. Staff -Bronwyn and Ali were fantastic.
Disliked: Toilet blocked when a boy urinated in it. Foul water coming up through the vanity, shower and floor drain. I had to plunge the toilet myself. This was Friday. Told plumber was not coming untilSunday although staff knew there were plumbing issues. Told we were not allowed to use the toilet facilities adjacent the sports bar (not an 18+ restricted area) as it would upset the gamblers. Offered a to with a working toilet but no hot water, as venue was fully booked. Room was in the middle of a construction site and construction noise woke us up on Monday morning. Room not service on Sunday. No fresh towels. Offered access to a room upstairs for bathroom facilities by Bronwyn. Much appreciated and was the redeeming factor of our stay. Very close to requesting our money back.

Liked: Good comfortable room ideal for a family of 4 visiting Sydney. Easy walking distance to the train station (1km). Friendly and helpful staff.

Liked: Receptionist was very friendly. and helpful. The room was cleaned both days we were there, so top marks for cleanliness. The room was a reasonable size (2 bedrooms) beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and modern. It was fairly close to the shopping center and a 15 minute walk to the train station. There is a club and eaterys on the premises. It was nice for a few nights stay. I would stay there again
Disliked: They are currently renovating, so the place was a bit of a mess and the pool was out of use due to this. Although renos are close to completion.
