Uncomfortable beds that sag, loud...
Liked: Will never recommend El Ray!
Disliked: Terrible front desk staff! The staff put me on 10 minute hold on the phone and couldn’t get back to me on the check out bill. Under staffed front desk.

A good stay that didn't...
Liked: The stay was generally good except for being interrupted a couple of times unnecessarily. The front-desk staff were helpful in changing this but no assistance with luggage.
Disliked: The manager. Took to much out for every night counting on theft. She also said that I booked through a second part, Booking, this case, so since they earned less, so she didn't care. I told her sorry travel agents are history.

Very good.
Liked: Great style, architecture, ambiance.
Disliked: Better coffee maker would be a big improvement. Location away from the center and on a very busy street not a plus.

Pleasant
Liked: The exterior of the hotel is charming, with a lovely Santa Fe-style design that adds to its appeal.
Disliked: However, the rooms are not well soundproofed, and the hotel’s response to emergencies needs improvement. On the first morning, I was woken up at 6 AM by the loud beeping of a garbage truck reversing. On the second night, I wanted to sleep early, but around 9:30 PM, the power in my entire room went out after I used the hotel’s provided hairdryer. Although the front desk staff was friendly, their first suggestion was to switch rooms, which I declined. Only then did they send someone to fix the issue. I waited in complete darkness for about half an hour before the power was restored, and I received no follow-up from the hotel afterward. While the hotel has its charms, the noise and handling of this situation were disappointing.
