Clean, newly renovated room in...

Liked: The room and bathroom were spacious and recently renovated. The refrigerator is a good size and has a freezer.
Disliked: The people in the next room made alot of noise starting at 3 am Aside from that, we would stay here again

Liked: The bungalows are roomy with a good tv & cable pkg. In-room coffee a must - check! The staff/owners very friendly - classic comfort!
Disliked: It was a GIANT bed - good mattress but the bedding didn't fit.

Exceptional

Liked: Very reasonable and fantastic location to the park. Room was well equipped and clean. Great restaurants and bars right outside the door as well!
Disliked: Nothing it was perfect!

Nice and clean traditional motel...

Liked: A traditional American motel where you park in front of your door; it was clean, and the staff was professional and quick. The fridge was very quiet, and the beds were comfy.
Disliked: A traditional American hotel - the bathroom is tiny compared to modern living standards, and the room wasn't too big either; one bed was squeezed in the corner. But the worst was the combination of Super loud A/C and a cold night; it woke me up maybe 20 times during the night every time it started. Other than that, it would be nice, but I can't recommend this to anyone during winter season.

Comfortable hotel within walking distance...

Liked: Comfortable and clean room. Very easy check-in. Owner very friendly and helpful. Guest laundry on site. Short walk to good restaurants. Would stay here again.

Roach Motel with worn, uncomfortable...

Liked: Our room looks to have had a remodel update in the recent past.
Disliked: The bed mattress was very uncomfortable, pillows lumpy and bed blankets had cigarette burns in them. Aside from that, I found two cockroaches in the bathroom at night. We won't be staying at El Rancho Dolores at JT National Park again. If the hotel owners update all the beds with new mattresses, pillows and bedding and address the cockroach issues, this 1950's roadside motel could be a nice place to stay.
