Liked: Lovely room with fireplace and bathtub, and great location near walking trails.

Beautiful hotel in charming Cambria

Liked: The staff were great! We encountered a minor vehicle need and staff member took us to get what we needed. We would definitely return. It’s very close to Hearst Castle.
Disliked: The toilet made a very loud sound!

Liked: Location and nice staff.
Disliked: All of the loud noises and foot stomping above our room late into the night. Also sounded like heavy objects were being dragged and possibly laundry was being done because it sounded like water whooshing. Just too many noises.

Liked: The beds were very comfortable and we slept well through the night.
Disliked: The property sells itself as a spa, which denotes calm, cleanliness, and great service. We did not receive this however, and were instead greeted with subpar service and inattentive staff, a room that did not meet cleanliness standards, and loud noise coming from the adjoining rooms who seemed to be hosting a party.
