Very enjoyable stay

Liked: Lovely stay in a traditional hotel. Staff were superb and the location and cleanliness was excellent.

Suited our needs but had...

Liked: Location of the property was excellent in the heart of Kelso and easy access to shops and bars . Old and quirky gave the place character. Lovely views looking out on to the Tweed
Disliked: Some things in the room needed maintenance , door handle and toilet flush in bathroom.

Superb

Liked: The location on the river tweed was lovely and it's central location in kelso was also good. The food was very good and our thanks to Jamie and Rob for looking after us in the restaurant

Extremely poor, very bad breakfast,...

Liked: Nothing went well. First night whilst taking a bath water leaked to the floor below and there was erratic behaviour by staff with towels knocking on the door.
Disliked: Nothing went well. First night whilst taking a bath water leaked to the floor below and there was erratic behaviour by staff with towels knocking on the door.Food was very poor especially at breakfast. cups and saucers and plates not clean and staff very abrupt at breakfast.
