Too expensive with too little...

Liked: The neighborhood was a really quiet one with amazing views and lots of places to take photos. A typical british neighborhood like those you see in the films.
Disliked: When we arrived at the hotel there was nobody there, the reception was closed. We arrived earlier that 15:00 o'clock, which the check-in time starts and lasts until 00:00, but all we wanted was to leave our luggage there and go out to explore the city. We managed to find a cleaning lady and help us leave our luggage in a storage room. When we came back later that evening for the check-in, I was informed by the man in the reception that I booked a room with its bathroom located in a different place. When I wanted to check my booking through the website he immediatly told me that and I quote: "It's fine cause you're very lucky. I have just one last room with the bathroom in it for you". Our room was in the basement, where there was not a good internet connection, nor a good mobile phone signal. We stayed there for five nights, our towels weren't changed ONCE. There was heat inside the room but we couldn't have the control of it, it was on during the late afternoon hours and was going off around 21:00-22:00 in the evening. Above our bed, which was big but not comfortable at all, I didn't enjoy sleep not even for a single night, there was a window. In the cold and windy nights the room would be described as "chilly" at the best case scenario. There was a TV but it was completely uselless as it wasn't connected to an antenna. There were also some cups for tea and glasses for water, when we used them they weren't replaced with new ones just like our towels. The bathroom was surprisinlgy big but there was no window and the aeration wasn't working properly. When it was time to check out guess what, there was not a single human in the reception, so we checked out ourselves. I simply posted my room key through a letter hole in the door next to the reception desk

Péssimo

Liked: Nada
Disliked: Employees always in a bad mood and rude. We asked about where we could buy a trip to Higland and the employee told us to search on Google. The reception is not open all the time, not even during the day, when we arrived we needed to store our bags at the hotel and a lady appeared who looked like she had eaten a lemon because it was so sour. we hate it!

unfortunate stay

Liked: the location is great near the Leith walk and the pubs around Leith. the manager was very understanding of my disappointment and agreed to refund me
Disliked: a very unfortunate stay without hot shower water and a very small room. feeling like I was Harry Potter sleeping under the staircase.after my discussion with some other clients spending the same night with me the hot water in all the rooms is a luxury not to be expected as well as an operating TV
