Sadly, wouldn’t stay again or...
Liked: Location, free parking and anytime breakfast, helpful host. Nice communal room
Disliked: Bed felt dirty, felt very itchy. Ants in the bathroom. Needs serious updating and a good clean.

Liked: Great B&B in a nice location. Casual 15-20 min walk into the CBD. Host John is friendly, relaxed, and goes out of his way to accommodate your needs. Private parking was a bonus too!

Charming B&B in a great...
Liked: This B&B is charming. The host, John, was warm, welcoming & helpful with information. Our room (Rm 1, executive en-suite) was large, clean, tasteful & very comfortable. Great central location & on-site parking a big plus, as was continental breakfast. A great place to stay at a reasonable cost. Highly recommend.
Disliked: Not a negative, just a 'heads-up' to anyone with mobility issues to check their room position as some rooms are on a floor lower than the kitchen/dining area (which is street level) with access via steep stairs. Other rooms are not.

It was great!
Liked: We came for the AWB festival - and the owner was so friendly and helpful with information. It was such a comfortable place to stay, and really convenient to all places we wanted to see.
Disliked: It was perfect as it is!

We are glad we met...
Liked: The owner, John, was a wonderful host. The B&B provided everything you could want for a continental breakfast. The food was fresh. There was even home-made plum jam, made by John, fresh plums from his garden, other fresh fruit and biscuits etc, etc. No question or request was too silly or hard. John went out of his way to help.
Disliked: This is a suggestion rather than a complaint. There needs to be more information about the property, its location and the type of accommodation it provides. I think this place is perfect for younger travellers - backpackers, couples, single travellers. We are 3 ladies in our late 70's with some mildish health issues. The parking was easy, right at the back door where John met us. However, also, there is a steep flight of stairs up to ground level. The other way to enter, without stairs, was up a steepish hill about 4-500 metres to the front door. The accommodation was perfect for two adults & two children, but not for three single, older ladies. There was one large room with a queen bed (I think), and a small single bed - partially behind a door. This room had a small fridge and the makings for tea & coffee. The only window in the room opened onto the other room , which was, what looked like a closed-in veranda, with a floor that sloped - maybe south! Anyway enough of a slope to cause a stumble, especially at night. There was a single bed and a single 'settee'. Not very comfortable. The bathroom was off this room, that is, accessed through this room. The bathroom was very unsuitable for us. It had a deep bath, with a shower over the top and a curtain. Getting in and out was difficult and dangerous. the bath was slippery and there were no rails AT ALL. It was difficult to turn the taps off tight enough to stop them dripping.Being a B&B there was no cooking. Breakfast was supplied and it was easy to make a sandwich for lunch - there was bread, butter, ham, cheese, tomato etc, and a variety of spreads. It was too far to walk to a restaraunt/cafe for dinner, so it was delivery or drive. We were at Edinburgh Gallery for 4 nights, so dinner was expensive. So my suggestion is that the booking website contains more information, e.g. the slip/fall hazard of the bath and shower.
