Liked: I was greeted by Matt with a smile and respect when I arrived. I requested a ground floor room d/t a disability and there was no problem obtaining it. The next morning, I spoke with the front desk and the manager, and they were helpful and pleasant. I had no complaints, but as I frequently travel, I like to meet who I'm doing business with. They are new owners and have remodeled the Edgewater Inn to make it pleasant to stay.
Disliked: The Edgewater Inn does not have a breakfast, just a coffee bar (no decaf available).

Liked: This is the second time we've stayed here. Excellent facilities and staff. Walking distance from Safeway and Fred Meyer, short drive to the core downtown area. Towels, beds, shower are the best! Very comfortable stay, and an excellent value.
Disliked: Only suggested change is USB plugs on table lamps. Almost all are the original USB-A, but most travelers have likely shifted to the more modern USB-C which is the standard for cables for newer cell phones, tablets and watches. It would be expensive to swap out all the otherwise fully functional lamps -- maybe another solution?

Liked: Staff were extremely friendly, has indoor pool and sits next to river.
Disliked: The room was surface clean, meaning areas that were not easily cleaned were left unvaccumed i.e. a used ear plug on floor next to b3d under side table.
