Superb

Welcoming and memorable.

Liked: The attention to detail in the rooms from decor to the tea/coffee facilities were fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel welcome at every stage of our stay. Josie/the owner, allowed us to use the dining/breakfast room for our murder mystery night which was amazing - Thank you for everything, especially the extra decorations!

Lovely Stay

Liked: Breakfast was lovely, with fresh juice, yoghurts and cereals and various cooked options. My room and bathroom were clean and the bed was very comfortable.The owner was friendly and very helpful with suggestions of places to go and see.
Disliked: The single room had a separate bathroom. The only slight discomfort was that I had to leave my room to access the bathroom.

A clean, friendly, affordable and...

Liked: The room was lovely and clean, the breakfasts were legendary (with a choice of non-dairy milks for coffee), and the location was perfect for me!
Disliked: The only improvement I can think of would be a comfier pillow, but I might be a princess.

Ideal for what we wanted

Liked: short walk from bus route and town centre. off road parking. friendly owners and nice welcome. very good breakfast, good choice.
Disliked: room slightly cool during day but this is understandable due to costs and the fact that the room might be empty. however an oil filled radiator was provided for daytime heating and was more than adequate.

Home from home. So comfortable....

Liked: Home from home. So comfortable. Lovely people, it felt like staying with friends. They couldn’t do enough to help. A proper old fashioned, beautifully clean B&B.
