Great for a short stay....
Liked: Great easy place to stay. Pool area is beautiful.
Disliked: Quite a lot of spiders around (anda lot of cobwebs). A spider ran across my daughter’s arm while she was asleep. There was no bug spray in the rooms. The bar area was nice but only Thai food and not a lot for people that don’t eat Thai. Service at night was also patchy (patchy had to wait a while for some one to come and serve us).

A truly unforgettable, relaxing getaway...
Liked: Review for Eden Oak Geelong – Waratah ApartmentWow, what a find! Eden Oak Geelong is an absolute gem, and our stay in the Waratah Apartment was nothing short of perfect. Tucked away in the lush gardens, just 5 km from the hustle and bustle of Geelong’s main streets, this place is the ultimate getaway. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by its retro-classy, 70’s vibe – it truly has character and charm. The apartment itself was cosy and inviting, with soft, comfortable beds that made it hard to leave. But when we finally did drag ourselves out of bed, the shower was a true highlight – the pressure was out of this world! Honestly, one of the best showers I’ve ever had.The staff were incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay special. We also had the pleasure of dining at their restaurant, and let me tell you, both the meals and breakfast were delicious – a real treat for the taste buds. One of our favourite parts of the stay was the piano in the lobby. We had such a fun time playing some tunes, and it was the perfect setting for relaxing in the cozy space. Plus, there’s 24-hour access to free coffee and hot chocolate, so you can keep the vibes going any time you like. Oh, and did I mention the pool table? It was a great way to unwind in between everything else.We didn’t get the chance to use the gorgeous pool and spa outside, but that's definitely on our list for our next visit! We can’t wait to come back and make even more memories here.I cannot recommend this place enough. It’s the perfect balance of relaxation, charm, and nostalgia. We’ll definitely be back!

Liked: Great location, beautiful gardens, hotel was relaxed and gorgeous, retro.
Disliked: A few of the walls/corridors need painting and some of the carpets need cleaning.
