Old-school budget motel does what...

Liked: The motel is the sort of place that you could imagine being used as a set in a film about a hood who's gone to ground after a deal gone wrong. The effect was highlighted when two unbelievably loud motorbikes arrived late in to the evening. That could be positive or negative, depending on your point of view - I was out for an old school road trip and it kind of added to the charm. The room was clean and comfortable enough for my purposes, and very good value.
Disliked: A little bit rough and ready, but fine for a cheap overnight stay. The reception desk is covered by a heavy transparent plastic curtain, which adds to the post-apocalyptic vibe.
