Liked: the front staff, the rooms wer renovated, and very clean.
Disliked: the first floor was FEMA displaced people, so the lobby and continental breakfast was over run . but, i understand these are people who were dispaced and it was temporary. there were plenty of places to eat localy and some within in walking distance.

Safe harbor in the storm.

Liked: Safe place to stay in hurricane. Staff handled guests in friendly, helpful manner for being short staffed due to weather. Never lost electric. Worked with us to extend our stay.
Disliked: Put us in non-smoking room but hallways reeked of smoke. After checkout, we were charged for smoking in the room. We’re not smokers. Charges were removed when we called.

Liked: The staff was pleasant and did their job just fine. The room was clean and had been refreshed in the past couple years. The lobby was decorated nicely for the holidays. The carpet through out was very worn out. The "breakfast" was embarrassingly bad. Three cereal options: Bran flakes, Fruit Loops, and another kind I skipped over. The cereal containers were 1/4 full. Some round rolls were wrapped in plastic wrap, not sure if they were bagels or just roundish rolls. There were 3 Jimmy Dean "Egg and Sausage" biscuits in the micro fridge that could be microwaved. Who knew how long they had been in there? We turned around and went to a local breakfast joint for a decent breakfast.
Disliked: The breakfast option was an embarrassment.
