Liked: The staff was amazing, very friendly and was able to meet my request of having a ground floor room for my mom in a wheel chair. The room was clean but the sheets on one of the bed had holes in them, didn't affect the sleep though. The room could use some updates but that's not a complaint just a suggestion. I give the Motel staff a 5 star, room 4 star and pool area 1 star review
Disliked: The pool area needs ALOT of work to it, The ceiling was black in spots, dry wall look to be falling on to the ground in front of one of the emergency exit doors, the paint was all chipped around the pool, the pool water was cloudy, the hot tub was not clean, had floaties in it, the hot tub had been carved in it from some unruly people (not motel fault), the overall pool area was very disappointing. I personally wouldn't stay again just due to that. The pool was the reason I booked this motel, i had my grandkids with me and wanted them to enjoy the stay, we did but if i didn't have them i for sure would not of got in. We just looked at it as if we were swimming in the river.

Liked: There was very little variety of breakfast, they put us in a handicap room in which the Kleenex holder was beyond rusty, the toilet lid was filthy.
Disliked: Pay attention to detail, the handicap room was filthy and we were not informed that we were going to get a handicap room

It's indeed a gateway to...

Liked: The location is indeed a gateway to Yellowstone. It's also value for money. The staff at the front desk was nice.
Disliked: Unfortunately, the batter used for the waffles was not tasty, however, all other aspects of the dish were satisfactory, according to the price.

Not great, not terrible.

Disliked: Pool was not clean and the lady started putting off breakfast exactly on time despite us clearly not being finished yet (there were more people like this)
