Liked: Price of the room was very reasonable. Location was great for where we needed to be. Breakfast was good. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful.
Disliked: There weren't any negatives.

Disliked: The place looks old and tired, cause it is. Our room had an odor like a locker room, was kinda gross. The furniture was just awful, really uncomfortable. Sorry, you asked.

Mediocre place to stay but...

Liked: It is right on Highway 41 so it’s super easy to jump on and go into Marquette or to head East.
Disliked: The fridge was not clean. The TV stopped working on the second day and it never got fixed. The size of the room was a lot smaller than the way the pictures depict it and there is NO lake view. The hotel is across the street from Lake Superior and it only tells you in the fine print when booking.

We booked for two nights...

Liked: I liked that the bedding was spotless, the mattress firm, and the pillows were not flat. I also liked that the shower, toilet, and sink were clean, and the carpet wasn't bad.
Disliked: I didn't like the lack of service. We were told no one would clean our room while we were there. After our first day, the toilet should have been cleaned, the towels should have been replaced and garbage emptied, at the very minimum. The room was dark and smelled musty, the windows and casings were filthy, the walls had holes in them, the furniture looked 40 years old, bed skirts were ripped and stained, the ceiling light didn't work, bugs and flies were inside the room, dead and alive. The bathroom ceiling light fixture had dozens of dead flies in it. The towels were very old and threadbare. They were like rags. This hotel sits alongside an extremely busy highway so the traffic noise is extreme. We left early the next day. Why should we stay in a room with no fresh towels, unemptied trash cans, and a toilet that needed to be cleaned? We decided to pack up and leave early the next morning. We could either leave a day early or clean the room ourselves. I'm sure our leaving was no inconvenience for them since they kept the second night's room charge anyway.

Disliked: The staff was unwilling to work with me on a room upgrade despite multiple rooms and willing to pay whatever amount necessary. So a big suite sat open, because he was unwilling to contact anyone to find out how i could upgrade
