Liked: great location! comfortable bed
Disliked: bathrooms could use a refresh, but the rooms seem nicely updated

It was a great stay!

Liked: Nice front staff! I was very nervous about the stay due to the poor reviews but our room was really nice. The king suite. Very clean, overall great stay.
Disliked: The traffic in South Lake Tahoe is terrible and the hotel runs on the Main Street.

OK Overall

Liked: PROS:- pretty central in South Lake Tahoe, walking distance to Heavenly village and a bunch of other restaurants/shops- breakfast included, spread was impressive, this was a huge plus for a traveling family- fireplace and jacuzzi in our room, which we paid extra for- beds were comfy- free parking- pet friendly
Disliked: CONS:- old and outdated- faucet for tub literally took an HOUR to fill so we would set it and forget it before jumping in with the jets.. we did not even bother testing the pressure of the shower head- kind of creepy decor inside the room- our window in the bathroom had like broken glass on the outside- thin walls

Great location but breakfast and...

Liked: The location. The staff was friendly.
Disliked: The continental breakfast was terrible, especially for the price we paid to stay. The juice fountain was broken our entire stay and there was no water, so the only thing for my children to drink was coffee. They had dry cereal but no milk, cream cheese but no bagels. Pretty much the only thing to eat every morning was toast or waffles and a few bananas (only the 2nd two mornings - no fruit at all the first morning). The bathroom in our room was dirty on our arrival. The shower door leaked all over the floor and there was mold on the ceiling. There was no heater or fan in the bathroom, so the towels, walls, and floors never dried. We had to use the hair dryer to try to dry our towels out. There was trash in the closet and food on the floor near the fridge from a previous guest.
